Artistic profile

With the Laughing PÄNZarena, the concert and guest performance company Otto Hofner GmbH Cologne expanded its popular event series Laughing Kölnarena for the first time in 2017 to include a concept for the whole family, from the youngest to parents to grandma and grandpa.

 

The event is also intended to serve as a platform to promote the next generation of carnival fans. Based on its big sister, the Lachende PÄNZ arena offers three hours of children's carnival with the Cologne children's triumvirate and established Cologne bands, balloon artists such as Pippa Pelina and walking acts such as Hennes (1.Hennes (1.FC Köln), Jecko (Festkomitee Kölner Karneval), Sharky (KEC) present themselves at the big, much-acclaimed march-in with around 1,000 youngsters from Cologne's children's and youth dance groups.
